About me and my practice

I am a counsellor and supervisor based in the Southside of Glasgow, with over a decade of clinical experience supporting adults with a range of emotional and relational difficulties.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the importance of a safe, collaborative and trusting relationship. I aim to offer a space where you feel able to speak openly, without judgement, and where your experiences can be explored with curiosity and care.
People come to counselling for many reasons, including anxiety, relationship difficulties, low mood, life transitions, or a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected. Together we can begin to make sense of what you are experiencing, developing greater awareness and understanding, and finding ways forward that feel more grounded and manageable.

My approach is person-centred and emotion-focused, with an interest in how our experiences are shaped not only by our thoughts but also by our bodies, relationships and past experiences. We work at a pace that feels right for you, allowing space for both reflection and change.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience working with and supervising professionals in demanding roles. This has deepened my appreciation of the pressures that can come with responsibility, decision-making and supporting others, and the value of having a confidential space to reflect and think.

Experience

I bring over 14 years of clinical experience working with adults across a variety of settings and communities.

My work has involved supporting people with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship difficulties and life transitions, as well as those seeking a space to reflect more deeply on their experiences and patterns.

Alongside my counselling practice, I provide supervision to counsellors and trainees. In this work I offer a reflective and collaborative space to think about clinical practice, relational dynamics and professional development.

I am also involved in counselling training at the University of Strathclyde, supporting students to develop their skills, confidence and self-awareness within therapeutic relationships.

In addition, I co-facilitate experiential workshops for therapists, with a focus on embodied awareness and the integration of body-based understanding within therapeutic work.
